Something worked

October 20

Maybe getting the website updates done opened some sort of door in my brain, because it’s been a series of :) days since then. Wordcount is going up, the scenes are coming together, and I feel on top of…everything except laundry.

Which of course, means I don’t have a lot to blog about.

However, I have a book that is coming together. A new Adele CD to listen to while I do it. (in addition to my playlist, which I’ll post to the blog in a little while.)

Life’s good.

So…

October 18

I’ve been working on this site, changing it and updating. And I had it almost ready to launch and then…I hated it. You cannot believe the levels of hatred I had for it. The design, the layout, even what I’d decided to include. I cried. All that work down the drain.

And so this past weekend, I started again. (It took me almost a month to look at it again, I confess). And I found a theme I liked. Simple, pretty. Bookish. It has…blog-stuff. I need to…do blog-stuff. I’ve never been a very good blogger, but I think I always tried to write long and essay-ish. So I’m going to give it another shot. Short entries, unless…they’re not.

And I’ll be tagging and categorizing things, too, so you can find posts with my playlists, and posts about the behind-the-scenes of writing book x or y. What I’m working on (and what new curse-word I’ve coined while doing so.)

So. Hi! Welcome to my new site and new blog.
